TIM HANNA

CEO, Compassion

Tim has been the CEO of Compassion Australia since June 2010, following 30 years of pastoring 3 churches in three different states and lecturing in Theological College. He is passionate about his role and loves the way it is the convergence of these previous roles.

After studying Economics on leaving school, he attained a Bachelor in Theology from the Melbourne College of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry, focussing on leadership, from Fuller Theological Seminary. Tim is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tim and his wife Chris have 9 children and are awaiting the birth of their 22nd grandchild, so life is never dull and boring He is also a sports tragic, especially loving AFL and still playing tennis and trying hard to keep fit with "advancing years".
