Panel: Compassion in the Age of Polarisation
Amber Schultz is an award-winning investigative journalist and Crikey's associate editor focusing on health, politics and social affairs. In 2022 she was awarded a Young Walkley Award for her on-the-ground coverage of the Ukrainian refugee crisis. In 2021 she was awarded the 2021 Mumbrella Young Writer of the Year for her coverage of parliament's reckoning of sexual violence. She has been shortlisted for four other Young Walkleys and a Kennedy award.
